Project: OUCH! is committed to protecting your right to privacy and providing a safe and respectful online space for you to share your story.
The username you select when registering will be used to identify you as your story’s author. Once you have registered, you may change that by selecting whether or not you are identified online by your username, real name, or a nickname. This option can be found in Your Profile section. Some people want to ’stand up and be counted’ by using their real name. If you feel anxious about doing that, then we strongly suggest you register using an anonymous username or nickname.
Names and email addresses of Contributors such as yourself are not sold or traded to companies for commercial purposes. Occasionally, we may notify Contributors about updates to our website, announce a new initiative, conduct a survey, or send them news about an important event in the genital integrity issue.
Sometimes other people want to contact a Contributor for such reasons as to share information, provide support, or to interview them. We will not share your name or email address with them. However, we may forward their request to you via email at which point you are free to contact them, or not.
